At the Duarte Park demonstration, Dec. 17th, 2011. It became clear to me that the movement is evolving in a very profound way. The energy is more than ever, but the idea of the old camp site concept may not be possible in the immediate future. It may not even be necessary, however I feel visible demonstrations in one form or another are necessary. While many are planning various petitions and political actions behind the scenes, the movement must also be vibrant and alive in the public eye to maintain relevance.
